Acoustical assessment of buildings
Besides specific acoustical analysis, Geonoise also provides acoustical assessment for new design projects.
A review of drawings and building specifications for potential noise and vibration problems can be performed.
Geonoise also provides an estimation of potential fixes based on our experience with similar systems.
Acoustical assessment of Industrial noise
The assessment, normally outside of a nearby residential or other noise sensitive premises, of noise of an industrial nature, is necessary wherever there is an adjacency or potential adjacency of residential and industrial land uses.
Such adjacency can lead to a potentially excessive noise impact upon the residential amenity.
We are experienced in making assessments by measurement of industrial noise emissions affecting mixed residential and industrial land use areas, but also in the design of noise mitigating measures suitable for a wide range of industries.
Acoustical assesment of Rail-, Road- and air traffic
We are experienced in the assessment of noise and vibrations coming from traffic noise.
By means of calculations and/or sound measurements we can make noise maps to see how the noise and vibrations levels spread over a certain area.
In these sound maps we can implement roads, railways, airfield paths, industrial areas etc. Any given sound or vibration source can be added to the model. Together with a digitized map (or drawing) from the residential or quiet areas, you will get a very good impression from the possibility of noise nuisance.
Sound reduction measures can be put in the models to see the acoustical effects.
