The goodwill generated by promises made by the Airports of Thailand (AoT) last year to pay generous compensation to residents affected by aircraft noise at Suvarnabhumi has been overshadowed in recent weeks by threats of a mass protest over delays in making the cash available.
May 18;
Airports of Thailand (AoT) agreed to pay a total of 66 million baht yesterday to four owners of noise-affected properties on the fringe of Suvarnabhumi airport.
